Dr. Nelson Castellano
|
Dr. Nelson D. Castellano is a native of Tampa and has been in practice at this office since 1975. He graduated from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in 1970 and followed this with post graduate training which included a year of internal medicine, one year of general surgery, and three years in otolaryngology training in head and neck surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Prior to obtaining his medical training, he received a degree in dentistry from Loyola University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. He followed this with three years of postgraduate training in the specialty of oral and Maxilla-facial surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La.
Dr. Castellano has privileges at several hospitals in Tampa in addition to the Outpatient Surgical Center. He is currently a consultant at the Veterans Administration Hospital and an associate clinical professor in surgery at the University Of South Florida School Of Medicine in the Department of Otolaryngology.
He is board certified in Otolaryngology, in Facial Plastic Surgery, and in Oral and Maxilla-facial Surgery. He has received additional training in laser surgery and in endoscopic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Castellano also does laser surgery of damaged skin of face and neck, Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, Glycolic Peels, and Facial Implants such as cheek and chin. |
